Services Monday for New Brunswick father, grandfather, brother
Alvester Grandberry, 65, of New Brunswick, N.J., passed away on March 29, 2019. He was born on Oct. 10, 1953.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, at 10 a.m. at the Macedonia OFW Baptist Church, 372 Highland Ave., Piscataway, N.J. Friends may attend a viewing prior to the service from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin Park, N.J.
Alvester leaves to mourn, his lifelong companion, Sharon Sumner; his four children, Tina, Shadawn, Shameka and Watson; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Jr. and Sylvester Grandberry; two sisters, Mary and Mildred Grandberry, and a host of other family and friends.
