Anne entered the world as a "New Year's Baby" born on Jan. 1, 1940. She was a lifelong, active member of the Linden community and volunteered her time to several organizations, including the Linden Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, YMCA, and St. Theresa's Parish.
Anne was employed at St. Michael's Medical Center in the Accounts Payable Department for 25 years before retiring in 2010. A truly selfless, nurturing individual, Anne was the adored matriarch of her family and cherished friend to many.
Anne was devoted to her beloved husband of 58 years, Stash Adamus, until his death on Feb. 22, 2018. Thoughts of the reunion of these teenage sweethearts brings peace and comfort to her loved ones. Anne was a dedicated mother to Barbara Adamus, John Adamus and his wife, Teresa, Stanley Adamus and his wife, Michele, Nicole Kelly and her husband, Christopher, and loving sister of Joseph Penna, Kathleen Meehan, and Frank Penna. Her absolute greatest joys were her grandchildren, Ryan, Max, Zachary, Brooke, Keira, and Kendall.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to JFK Haven Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
